Title: HowTo: Create your $HOME/Maildir Description: Mail and Suse You've installed Courier, either the IMAP, POP3 or both and you want to start using them. 1) Install procmail, and use the YaST Mail Server config to use procmail to deliver mail - in effect this adds the following line
mailbox_command = /usr/bin/procmail
to /etc/postfix/main.cf 2) The maildirmake will create your maildir directory, to use you'll need to login as the relevant user and use the following command /usr/bin/maildirmake $HOME/Maildir (you could also do so in /etc/skel - to mean new users will have it created automatically) 3) Restart Courier and Postfix via YaST -> RunLevel editor and send a test mail to yourself. You should now be able to pick it up via your mail client Sources: My own config - please post if you find an issue with this...
